Factotum Droid

Factotum droids, also sometimes called steward droids, are designed to serve as personal assistants to starship captains and their crews. Although similar in design to protocol droids, factotum droids are much more versatile, able to conduct a variety of tasks to ensure the comfort of their masters and crews. Notable models include the C2-series, widely used throughout the Republic space, and the 2V-series, which are used with most Imperial-constructed starships. Both models are programmed to be particularly accommodating of their masters, though many users find them overly fawning and look for ways to modify them, either delicately or violently.
